What is whistle-blowing?

Whistle-blowing is the confidential and protected reporting of a suspected or witnessed wrongdoing or malpractice.


Who should blow the whistle?

AlAin Finance Company’s Whistle-blowing Policy allows any parties (including employees, vendors, consultants, and customers) to report suspected or alleged incidents of malpractice or misconduct.


Examples of Criminal or Unethical Conduct, Behavior or Practice:

Below are the common but non-exhaustive situations which necessitate whistleblowing;

  • Breach of customer confidentiality
  • Breach of law or regulation
  • Violation of core values, ethical standards, business principles, or the code of conduct
  • Deliberate concealment of criminal or unethical conduct
  • Conflict of interests
  • Market abuse – insider trading and market manipulation
  • Theft, Fraud, Bribery & Corruption
  • Money laundering and terrorist financing
  • Questionable accounting and auditing matters
